37 IU students selected for science, technology fellowship

Md Shahedul Islam::IU Correspondent: A total of 37 students from different departments of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have been selected for Science and Technology fellowship for research under the ministry of Science and Technology, IU academic section confirmed the matter on Monday.

Khan M Reza-Un-Nabi, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, issued a press release in this regard on Sunday.

The students who have been selected from different departments for the fellowship are- Billal Hossain, Mainur Reza, Taiyeba Tasnima, Tarek Aziz and Rakibul Islam from Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department, Muntaha Binte Mukhles, Choyon Ali, Jannat Ferdous, Monira Akter, Sanjida Khatun, Jinia Afrin Tasnim-E-Tarik Abir, Sharmin Akter, Rehena Akter, Walid Hasan, Ongkan Khan, Abdus Sabur and Jannatun Ferdaus from Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department, Sinthia Khatun, Sohana Parvin, Evana Islam, Tathiya Yeasmin, Kazi Suraiya Islam, Nusrat Jahan, Abu Saeed, Shamim Islam, Adnan Bin Alim, Harun-Or-Rashid and Afroza Akhter from Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Department, Selim Reza Jibon, Sabbir Ahmed, Esmat Jahan, Ali Hasan, Sonia Khatun and Nasir Uddin Khan from Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department.

Besides, Ruhul Amin of Information and Communication Technology Department and Mamunur Rahman of Statistics Department have also been selected for the fellowship.
